Turner Madden, Esquire of Madden & Patton, LLC has been practicing law in Washington, D.C. for over twenty three years. Mr. Madden currently concentrates on federal lobbying issues before Congress and federal agencies. Mr. Madden has successfully represented clients such as the National Football League, the Salt Lake Olympic Winter Games of 2002, the International Racket Health and Sports Club Association, the Indiana Pacers, the Pittsburg Steelers, the City of Anaheim, California, the City and County of Denver, Breen Capitol Group and many companies and universities. Over the past thirteen years, Mr. Madden has served as the outside General Counsel and Chief Lobbyist for the International Association of Assembly Managers, Inc. (“IAAM”) which has over 4,200 member managers of stadiums, arenas, convention centers and performing arts centers.

Concerning the National Football League, Mr. Madden created and implemented the National Football League Disability Services Program for the past twelve Super Bowls and has represented the NFL in regulatory matters. Concerning the Salt Lake Olympic Winter Games, Mr. Madden assisted Mr. Mitt Romney with regulatory and compliance efforts in twelve Olympic Departments (including venue construction, employment and internet activities) for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games and the Paralymic Games.  

As a litigator in Washington, D.C., Mr. Madden has won over 40 civil cases in Superior and Federal courts including government contract cases. Mr. Madden serves as Chairman of the Partnership for Critical Infrastructure Security, Inc. and the Co-Chairman of the Commercial Sector Coordinating Council for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.  Mr. Madden is also the lead author of the book entitled Public Assembly Facility Law, (the Law of Stadiums and Arenas). Mr. Madden is a member of the District of Columbia and Maryland Bar Associations, the U.S. Supreme Court Bar and the United States Tax Court.
